Why do you think that the soldior let henry go. The typical german soldior would have killed him. i mean an american soldior captured. If the soldior would have killed him it would have been a weird ending but that is what would realy happen. He would have killed him and the book ends thyen somethiung resolves it.
That was a great book! It just got better and better as I kept reading. At the end of the book it was so emotional when he hugged Clayton. It was sad when Henry's mom, Lilly, couldn't recognize him when he got out of the taxi. What do you think happened to the taxi driver's sons in the war?
The blogging was a great way to discus the book because you could get different opinions of people without people making too much noise in a classroom.
I liked the entire expierence the book wouldnt be my favorite choise but it was good i also liked the blooging it is a little time to talk about what you read resolving questions and alll classes are writing on paper this is tiping in a group having a ok time it is like talking to friends or texting to someone with an engaging conversation
