So guys how are you liking the book so far? Do you think that Yvette is finally going to talk to Suzanne? This book is very interesting and i think its amazing how Suzanne is so brave and willing to do anything for her freedom.
maybe after the next few chapters niesha. :P (thts when i think yuvette will talk) and they kindof did weston... they got the piano from their neighbors that took them from the germans...
Frist responce: The book is really good so far i like the part were they get their house back. Its really sad that the main chacter's best freind wont even talk to her. I would hate it if i was ingnorred like that. when shes walking home from her aunt's house you see that not all germans are bad. so i think it would also be bad if their was a bad impression on be because just because one leader is really mean dosn't mean everyone flowing him does.
here r my answers, katie!:) 1:blue, white, red 2:to keep her mind off the war, and because she loves to. 3:Royal Air force 4:to the germans base or werever they liv.
I'm with weston... i like her braveness.. because i would never have the guts to do wat she has done. (like in the beginning, when the war was going on.. she STILL went for a walk on the beach)
I like that part to Weston its very interesting isnt it. Their house is empty when they get back. Quick question... How would you like it if a different country took over your home and you had to live in a very small apartment..and when you got back to your house it was empty?? Answer that for me.
i think that no person should be treated like the chacters in any war book espishily for freedom its just like they're the germans demented, not smart pets
Oh wow! i would hate that... some stranger went into my house and took my things... id be SOOOO mad.. and probably cry becaus ei have very important things at my house... and id hate for them to be taken away!! :(
they got back other furniture, though, they put an ad in the paper, and people who bought the furniture did not realize they bought suzanne's family's stuff, and the things they got back were the table, dresser, and their clock. stuff they didnt get back were their bicycles, and maman's piano. it says so in the beginning of chapter 11.
this is kind of late but on what weston said... the smell of "horror" in the bathroom sink. that would SMELL SOOOOOOOO BAD!!! ugh i can't even imagine it..
right Taneisha.. good point... but well they had it id be sad... but if i had my blanky (i know sounds childish... but ive had it ever sense i was born)id be happier :P
Courtney the didnt say they didnt get the piano back the said they did get things like the the dresser, theclock and other stuff they didnt say that they never got the piano back.

Example Response
John Smith: Wow! I am so interested in this book. Could you imagine being orphaned at our age and having to be able to survive on our own? Crispin has no other relatives to take him in, and it sounds like he is not very accepted in his village. I wonder why John Aycliff is after him? Life was so different during this time period. People could be killed for doing what we consider very minor things. Life sure was difficult. I am curious to know what you guys think about this book. Do you think Crispin will stay in Stromford or run away? How will he escape John Aycliff?

I have 4 questions..
#1. What color of pencils did etienne buy?
#2 In Suzanne's words.. why does she sing?
#3 What does the letters R.A.F mean?
#4 Where do u think Suzanne's furniture went?
Ummm...I think they might if they get a chance to get it back to the way it was.
maybe after the next few chapters niesha. :P (thts when i think yuvette will talk) and they kindof did weston... they got the piano from their neighbors that took them from the germans...
Katie R.A.F means rien a fumer. In American it means nothing to smoke

Nice input Katie. Yea im kind of happy they got their piano back from their neighbors because it meant so much to her mom (Maman) :D
What is the one thing you like about Suzanne? Is it her bravness, intelligence,or her personality?
