Soldier X is about a boy, named Erik, or soldier X. What i've read so far is Erik telling about when he was a 16 year old boy in the Hitler Youth. While they are heading to war on the troop train he meets 3 new friends,who end up being very close to him. One of them is named Jakob,who is the first he meets,and jakob tells him about what had happened in his life. The other he meets is Hal, Erik helps bandage him up after an accident. And it tells about how three trucks had been lost and necer found in the air attack, and lots of people were killed. thats pretty much what i remember.
This book so far is very good. The action keeps me reading. i would freak out if i was attcked by the russians. How would you guys react to a lost friend in a war like that? The climax keeps getting better and better.
haha I love your enthusiasm jaret! adn yeah its a pretty good book so far, i can tell it's going to be intense. And i would just be like extrmeley sad,cry, want to leave war but i would know i couldn't.
