Wow! Can any of you imagine being controled by another country when you think your country is free? I have a question....What do you think will happen to the family?? Ohh..and.. how are u guys liking the book so far
I think this book has many action parts and kind of gorry. Like when a lady gets hit by a bomb when she was pregnate and then the baby splat out of the stomach, and when the german soliders took their home. what do you think will happen next? and do you think that suzanne will sneak back to her old house and get her other things that she forgot?
I think that he didnt care because remember he said they didnt take your courage and your voice....he didnt really say he didnt care he said that they take anything that was all that important like your voice and courage or their faith. He also said that they didnt take anything of value.

i think the germans just mes up everything and that hitler is a realy mean guy and shuldof never lived cause without him we would of been in a happy fear free wourld!

WHY DO YOU THINK THAT AT THE END OF THE 6th chapter the dad didnt care about Madame montage's life?
Yes i am realy likeing the book it is veary intresting and some of it kind of disturbing

ive never realy read a book in class this disturbing! i nearly vomitied after the first 10 pages!
at the end of the 6th chapter, i think the dad just doesn't want suzanne to think about what happened

I like the book so far. and as weston said, it IS disturbing. maybe the dad just dosn't want to think about it because he was SOOOOO mad at Hitler.
