Ohmigosh this book is getting so good. I mean when the soldiers come into the house wow! I mean there is so many mysteries in this book it's amazing. When they opened the casket it was really suprising to read that there was only winter clothing in it. It's so great that Ellen is with her parents again I am so happy for her I know she's a book character but so what it is still happy.
i thought the book was good but kind of a creepy good. Like when Anmarrie got stopped by the nazis and asked what was in a basket, overly suspicious haha. I also thought they were going to catch Ellen at that one part. i didnt enjoy it until the very end because the napkin was really really cool and so was the fact fisheremen had secret rooms in their boats!
WOW that chapter was crazy! It was so good the part when the funral was going on and there was no aunt Birte . Omigosh im so happy that ellens [arents were there so i dont have to worry about them as much. I wonder why they were lying about aunt birte ? And another wonder is WHAT IS IN THE PACKAGE? Its killing me and Im dying to know. Also Im wondering where they are going?
i think it would be good to hae the nazis find the girl because then they would not be such babies and weaklings i would not be scared because im not a jew like her so i would just sit there while the war happened
I feel so bad for Annemarie I mean being so young and having to deal with this in your life. I mean come on why did Hitler have to try to take over Europe I mean there was other contributing factors to the war but seriously why can't you just be happy with what you have.

Example Response
John Smith: Wow! I am so interested in this book. Could you imagine being orphaned at our age and having to be able to survive on our own? Crispin has no other relatives to take him in, and it sounds like he is not very accepted in his village. I wonder why John Aycliff is after him? Life was so different during this time period. People could be killed for doing what we consider very minor things. Life sure was difficult. I am curious to know what you guys think about this book. Do you think Crispin will stay in Stromford or run away? How will he escape John Aycliff?

When you say that one part it's just a tad bit vague well it's actually very vague you should probally try to be more specific.
